This meeting was organized to share the progress of the "Basic Plan for Youth Policy"-a statutory plan established every five years under the "Yeongju City Youth Basic Ordinance"-and to further define the future vision for local youth.

More than 10 people attended the meeting, including Hong Seongho, Director of the Local Era Policy Office, relevant public officials, members of the Youth Policy Committee, and members of the Youth Policy Council. Taeheung ENC, the agency conducting the research, presented the progress of the project and the results of the youth status survey. Participants then reviewed the direction of key policy areas such as youth employment, housing, welfare, and participation, and discussed ways to identify effective policy tasks.

With this interim report meeting as a turning point, the city plans to further refine customized youth policies for each stage of life, aiming to help young people settle stably and to boost regional vitality.

Hong Seongho, Director of the Local Era Policy Office, stated, "Youth policy is a sustainable growth engine for Yeongju City," adding, "We will actively incorporate the various opinions presented today to complete policies that enable young people to realize their dreams and plan for their future in Yeongju."

This research project will continue until December 14, and Yeongju City plans to officially implement youth policies starting in 2026, following a final report meeting and administrative procedures.
