According to the British Daily Mail and fashion magazine British Vogue on October 23 (local time), the couple held their wedding in Paris, France, this past August. Sean and Jung, both in their late twenties and the same age, first met in 2018 at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and tied the knot after seven years of dating. It is reported that Sean fell in love with Jung at first sight during volunteer work, which led to their relationship.
Sean is currently working as a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst at the auction house Christie's, while Jung, after earning her MBA from Columbia University in New York, is working at Taffin, a jewelry brand run by Sean's uncle.
The wedding festivities spanned three days, starting on August 28, with every event from the rehearsal dinner to the main ceremony drawing the attention of local media. The first day's rehearsal dinner was held at 'La Fontaine Gaillon,' a Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris. On this day, Jung created an elegant look by pairing a Victoria Beckham dress with an ivory jacket from the Korean brand 'Kimhaekim.' She shared, "It's a brand I've admired for a long time," adding, "The classic silhouette and pearl embellishments enhanced the femininity."

The main ceremony took place at Sainte-Clotilde Basilica in central Paris. Sean stated, "We both grew up Catholic and wanted a Mass wedding," and added, "It's a church our family has visited for many years for special occasions."
Jung wore a custom-made silk tube top dress with a voluminous cape, designed by Korean-American designer Andrew Kwon. The couple first connected at a wedding event in the United States over their shared Korean heritage, and Kwon spent a year and a half creating the dress for Jung.
French media described this wedding as "the society wedding of the year." After the ceremony, Jung shared on Instagram, "The wedding I dreamed of was a timeless classic with Parisian sophistication," adding, "Every weekend I gathered inspiration, creating over 100 vision boards, and the planner brought that vision to life perfectly."
Meanwhile, Sean's father, Hubert Taffin de Givenchy, passed away in 2016, and he is known as the nephew of Givenchy founder Hubert de Givenchy. Although Givenchy was acquired by the world's largest luxury group LVMH in 1988, the Daily Mail reported that the Givenchy family remains closely connected to the fashion industry.
