The lectures will be divided into two sessions: the 'Distant Universe' session will run from November 12 to December 3, and the 'Nearby Universe' session will take place from January 7 to January 28 next year. The lectures will be held every Wednesday evening at the planetarium of the National Gwacheon Science Museum, forming a large-scale science concert series with a total of eight sessions. Participants who attend all lectures will receive a certificate of completion issued by the Seoul National University Citizen Science Center.

The 'Distant Universe' session will open with Professor Lee Myungkyun of Seoul National University comparing the observational results of the Hubble and James Webb telescopes. This will be followed by lectures from Professor Jeon Myungwon of Kyung Hee University, Professor Lee Jungeun of Seoul National University, and Dr. Lee Bomi of the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute, covering topics such as the first stars of the early universe, star formation, and the SPHEREx project, which is being co-developed with NASA.

In the 'Nearby Universe' session, Professor Chae Jongchul of Seoul National University will discuss the Sun, while Professor Kim Seongsu of Kyung Hee University will focus on the Moon. In addition, Director Lee Yeonju of IBS, Professor Shim Minseop of Seoul National University, and Professor Joo Youngji of Pukyong National University will present the current status of Venus and Mars exploration. The first lecture will feature a pre-show science play titled 'Seeing Myself in the Universe,' introducing a new format that combines science and the arts.

Han Hyoungju, Director of the National Gwacheon Science Museum, stated, "The Chaos Lecture is a meaningful opportunity to promote science culture and engage with citizens," adding, "We hope to explore the mysteries of the universe together with researchers at the forefront of astronomy."

The lecture schedule and ticket reservations can be found on the websites of the Chaos Foundation and the National Gwacheon Science Museum, with advance reservations available from October 24.
