Gokseong County in South Jeolla Province announced on the 23rd that a final briefing session was held at the main stage of the 25th Gokseong Simcheong Children's Festival at Gokseong Seomjingang Train Village on the 22nd to check the festival preparation status.

The briefing, presided over by Governor Jo Sangrae, began with a comprehensive report from Kim Jongseo, Head of the Culture and Sports Department, followed by a review of the festival site layout and reports from the heads of departments responsible for each festival program.

The county has worked hard to ensure the successful hosting of the 25th Gokseong Simcheong Children's Festival this year, focusing on landscaping the venue, weeding, and overall maintenance of facilities such as electricity and water and sewage systems.

At the festival site, an integrated on-site situation room has been established, consisting of county officials, police, fire department, event agency staff, and medical teams, to enable real-time communication and respond to any emergencies. The central stage, where major performances such as Catch! Teenieping and Hello Carbot will take place, will be managed by a private security service to ensure safety and respond to emergencies, while an emergency passage has been secured in the central plaza to allow ambulances to pass through immediately.

Near the Rose Park, where the food zone is located, a rest area with 200 seats has been set up for visitors to relax. In addition, new rest areas have been added near Gokseong Daum in front of Magic Land, in addition to the existing ones. Stroller and wheelchair rental stations and nursing rooms will be operated, and water dispensers have been installed throughout the festival site to provide a comfortable and pleasant environment so that visitors can fully enjoy the festival.

Governor Jo Sangrae said, "As the Gokseong Simcheong Children's Festival is held in October, which we are promoting as Children's Day, I ask everyone to do their utmost in the final preparations and inspections so that children can fully enjoy the festival, cherish it as a lifelong memory, and want to return to the Train Village."

Meanwhile, the 25th Gokseong Simcheong Children's Festival will be held for four days until the 26th at Gokseong Seomjingang Train Village, and during the festival period, there will be a free admission event for elementary school students and younger.
