According to the county on the 23rd, this event has been organized as an interactive festival that combines hands-on programs using local agricultural specialties with a flea market, allowing both residents and tourists to enjoy and communicate together.

The experience program will take place twice, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., with a total of 100 teams (200 participants). Participants will have the opportunity to make both regular Makgeolli and Omija Makgeolli (1.5 liters each) using local agricultural products such as Jangsu Omija.

The participation fee is 25,000 won per set, a 50% discount through Jangsu Mall. Each ticket purchaser will receive two meal vouchers (worth 10,000 won each) that can be used on-site, allowing them to enjoy a full meal that pairs well with Makgeolli.

Experience tickets can be purchased in advance or on-site through Jangsu Mall. For Jangsu Mall members, the county will actively encourage participation through both text message promotions and on-site guidance.

In addition to the Makgeolli experience, the event will feature a flea market selling fresh local produce and processed foods from Jangsu, as well as a variety of games and prize events popular with all age groups. Visitors will be able to enjoy the rich food and attractions of Jangsu all in one place.

County Governor Choi Hunsik said, "I hope the Makgeolli making experience using Jangsu's clean agricultural products will enhance the value of our regional brand and become a venue for communication enjoyed by both residents and tourists. We will continue to expand the Gwangjang Festa in connection with Jangsu Mall to further invigorate the local economy."

Meanwhile, following Season 1 "Beer Festa" held last August, the county will sequentially host unique seasonal experience events: Season 3 Jang Sauce (Doenjang and Gochujang) Experience on November 8, Season 4 Kimchi-Making Experience on November 22-23, and Season 5 Fermented Food Festival on December 6-7.
