The main schedule included on-site inspections of large-scale conference and exhibition facilities in the province, such as KINTEX in Goyang and Suwon Convention Center, as well as visits to four unique venues in Gyeonggi (Suwon Center for Traditional Culture, Paju Asia Publication Culture and Information Center, Korean Folk Village, and Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang).
In particular, Gyeonggi Unique Venues are distinctive and unique event spaces designated by Gyeonggi Province for hosting MICE events. They are characterized by offering differentiated event experiences through a harmonious blend of traditional culture and modern facilities. Through these various experiences, participants had the opportunity to directly witness the unique appeal and cultural value of MICE facilities in the province.
A representative from the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization stated, "This event provided a valuable opportunity to showcase the unique appeal and competitiveness of the province's MICE industry to international markets, distinguishing it from other regions. We will continue to make every effort to expand the attraction of global MICE events through proactive exchange activities aimed at strengthening our presence in overseas MICE markets."
