Samsung Asset Management Launches Kodex China ETF Investment Guidebook

Samsung Asset Management announced on October 23 that it has published the 'Samsung Kodex China ETF Investment Guidebook' and will hold a web seminar on China investment strategies through the Kodex ETF YouTube channel.

The Chinese government unveiled its next five-year plan (2026-2030) during the 4th Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, which was held over three days starting October 20. Amid the release of domestic stimulus measures such as addressing the prolonged downturn in the real estate market and sluggish consumption, the government also signaled a significant expansion of investments in advanced industries, including artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductors. Among domestic investors, China AI investment is rapidly emerging as a new investment opportunity.

The web seminar, titled 'China is All About AI! I Saw It Firsthand!', will feature a Samsung Asset Management ETF manager who recently visited China and will share real-life insights into the country's AI ambitions. The seminar will also provide a detailed explanation based on the content of the Kodex China ETF Investment Guidebook, focusing on China AI investment strategies.

Through the web seminar, participants will gain not only key information about the Chinese AI industry but also practical investment tips, including promising industries expected to drive the Chinese stock market going forward and an introduction to three Kodex China ETFs that enable investment in China AI.

Kim Dohyung, Head of ETF Consulting at Samsung Asset Management, said, "Interest in investing in China is high as the Chinese stock market repeatedly rises and falls, especially among technology stocks, but many investors hesitate due to a lack of information."

He added, "Samsung Kodex ETF will provide vivid, firsthand information on China's AI ambitions, which we directly confirmed through on-site visits, and will focus on introducing China ETFs that are expected to benefit the most."
