Jeon Hangil, a former Korean history instructor and YouTuber, recently claimed that President Lee Jaemyung hid 1 trillion won in Singapore. In response, Park Jiwon, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, refuted the claim by saying, "Stop talking nonsense."

Recently, Jeon Hangil relayed on his YouTube channel "Jeon Hangil News" during a live broadcast the words of a man who claimed that President Lee had hidden slush funds exceeding 1 trillion won in Singapore. The man stated, "Lee Jaemyung has hidden slush funds worth trillions of won in Singapore. He illegally amassed these funds from Daejang-dong and Baekhyeon-dong, and Singapore is also known as the place where Kim Hyunji, the First Secretary's son, studied abroad."
Jeon Hangil added, "If it were reported that former President Yoon Sukyeol had hidden nearly 1 trillion won somewhere, the left-leaning media, like MBC's 'Biden-Nalrimen' incident, would have pounced and torn Yoon Sukyeol apart. They would have rushed to Singapore and caused a commotion. This is the kind of case that should be investigated by a special prosecutor," he said.
On October 22, Park Jiwon criticized Jeon Hangil on his social media, saying, "Jeon Hangil has lost his mind." He continued, "The slush fund games played by conservative presidents. Progressive presidents like Kim Daejung, Roh Moo-hyun, and Lee Jaemyung do not have slush funds," he said.
He also listed the names of former conservative presidents such as Park Geunhye and Lee Myungbak, stating, "The astronomical slush funds of these individuals are known and have been exposed to the whole world. The practice of giving congratulatory money for election victories continued until YS (former President Kim Youngsam), but DJ (former President Kim Daejung) broke the tradition and did not accept it. Jeon Hangil has been traveling around the United States and Japan holding one-man protests, but even if he is sick, he is seriously ill. If you find that 1 trillion won, take it. Use that money to pay back what you received from the Unification Church or get nominated by Representative Jang Donghyeok and use it as campaign funds," he said.
