The Biggest Shopping Festival of the Year 'SSG Day' Returns... Record 2 Trillion Won in Event Goods

Shinsegae Group will host the "2025 Korea SSG Day," a shopping festival featuring the participation of all its online and offline affiliates.

This year marks the sixth SSG Day, and it will run for a record-long 11 days from October 30 to November 9. The scale of the event will also be the largest ever, with over 2 trillion won worth of goods available. Starting with Emart, a total of 18 affiliates-including Shinsegae Department Store, SSG.com, Gmarket, and Good.com, the online mall of Shinsegae Casa-will participate in the event in succession. Emart will extend its event period from the previous three days to four days, offering up to 50% discounts on about 150 items, including Korean beef and daily necessities. At Emart Everyday supermarket, all Korean beef products will be available at discounts of up to 40%.

Gmarket and Auction will offer four "signature special deal items" exclusively at special prices: the Roborock robot vacuum cleaner, Everland all-day pass, Peacock grilled short rib patties, and Kleenex toilet paper. Shinsegae Casa will provide up to 50% off on the popular Casamia sofa "Campo Series." Starbucks will launch 25 types of Christmas season character merchandise to commemorate SSG Day. Emart24 convenience store will introduce lunchboxes created in collaboration with Michelin chefs. Shinsegae Food has developed SSG Day exclusive products such as the NBB Golden Katsu Burger and Golden Mozza Katsu Burger.

One of the core keywords for this year’s SSG Day is "a true clearance sale." Shinsegae Group has designated SSG Day as the "official warehouse clearance day," offering products held by each affiliate at reasonable prices. For example, Emart will offer the iPhone 15 at a 30% discount for a limited quantity of 3,000 units, while Emart24 will provide up to 50% off on smart TVs. In addition, Shinsegae Department Store, Josun Hotel, Emart24, Starfield, and Simon Outlet will host experiential events at their offline locations.
