Joint Program Launched to Strengthen Entrepreneurship Capabilities
The Entrepreneurship Startup Hub of Kookmin University’s Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Yoon Minchang Investment Foundation on the 16th at the university’s main administration building. The agreement aims to jointly develop and operate practical entrepreneurship education programs.

The Yoon Minchang Investment Foundation serves as the operating agency for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ technology startup support program, TIPS, as well as the small business startup support program, LIPS. The foundation supports aspiring entrepreneurs’ spirit of challenge and plays a leading role in expanding the startup ecosystem.
In particular, through its “Good Starter” investment competition program, the foundation focuses investments on startups in innovative sectors such as online platforms, artificial intelligence (AI), mobility, and content.
Through this agreement, the two organizations have agreed to establish a cooperative system for startup support, including: ▲ joint development and operation of practical entrepreneurship education programs, ▲ establishment of mentoring and expert networks, and ▲ linkage of IR (investment attraction) and follow-up investments.
Chung Seungryul, President of Kookmin University, commented on the agreement, stating, “This is a meaningful collaboration that combines Kookmin University’s capabilities in entrepreneurship education with the foundation’s investment network, both of which are oriented toward fostering entrepreneurship.”
