Youngjin Angle Co., Ltd., headquartered in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province, announced that it has received the Minister of Environment Award in the "Green Products" category at the "2025 Government Awards for Eco-friendly Technology Promotion and Consumption Encouragement," organized by the Ministry of Environment.
This award is a prestigious government-level program held annually to recognize companies, organizations, and individuals who contribute to the development of eco-friendly technology and the expansion of green consumption. Youngjin Angle was recognized for its leading role in expanding eco-friendly distribution, based on its "eco-friendly storage shelves (heavy-duty and light-duty racks)"-the first in the shelving manufacturing industry to receive the environmental label certification.
On March 6, 2018, Youngjin Angle officially received recognition for its efforts to reduce hazardous substances in its products by obtaining environmental label certification (No. 18226) for its "storage shelves" from the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute. Since then, through multiple supplier contracts (MAS) with the Public Procurement Service, the company has supplied certified products to public institutions and businesses, delivering a total of 32,077 products to 1,147 client organizations, thereby making tangible achievements in promoting eco-friendly consumption.
In particular, from 2022 to 2025, environmentally certified products accounted for approximately 80% of total sales under MAS contracts, resulting in the sale of eco-friendly products worth about 5.7 billion KRW, contributing significantly to the green transition.
Youngjin Angle is committed not only to environmental management but also to sustainable management and fulfilling social responsibility. The company simultaneously holds international standard certifications ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), and is actively promoting balanced improvements in employee welfare, customer satisfaction, and quality competitiveness through certifications such as "Family-Friendly Company," "Performance-Sharing Company," and "Korea Service Quality Excellence Company."
