Ko Myunghwan Invited to Speak at 'Residents Happiness Academy' in Jindo Jindo County Residents Happiness Academy Poster.

The "Jindo County Residents Happiness Academy," organized by Jindo County in South Jeolla Province to enhance residents' happiness and humanities literacy, will feature a lecture by Ko Myunghwan, a writer and former comedian.


The county announced that on October 23 at 2:00 p.m., a lecture will be held in the main conference room of Jindo County Hall, with writer Ko Myunghwan invited to speak on the theme "The Classics Answered: On the Wealth We Ought to Have."


This academy has been prepared to encourage reflection on the value of life and the essence of happiness, and to provide residents with an opportunity to discover a more positive direction in life. Ko Myunghwan, who experienced a turning point in his life after a car accident, is now active as an entrepreneur and writer, and is recognized as a "success story of a second act in life."


During the lecture, he will reinterpret the wisdom found in the classics from a modern perspective and share insights on "true wealth and happiness."

Kim Heesu, Governor of Jindo County, stated, "This academy will be a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the direction of life amid joyful laughter," adding, "I hope that through Ko Myunghwan's experiences and wisdom, residents will discover new values of happiness."


Meanwhile, the "Jindo County Residents Happiness Academy" is a public lecture series that invites distinguished figures from various fields to enhance residents' humanities literacy. Anyone can participate free of charge without prior registration.
