Eight Agenda Items Submitted by Chilgok County to Be Addressed
The Chilgok County Council (Chairman Lee Sangseung) will convene its 313th extraordinary session for nine days, from October 21 to October 29.
During this session, the council will address one ordinance bill proposed by an assembly member (sponsored by Assemblywoman Park Namhee), as well as eight items submitted by Chilgok County (including five ordinance bills, one plan, one contribution proposal, and one opinion submission). Additionally, there will be a Q&A session regarding the 2026 Chilgok County work implementation plan.
The main schedule of the extraordinary session includes the first plenary meeting on the 21st, followed by standing committee meetings from the 22nd to the 28th, and concludes with the second plenary meeting on the 29th, marking the end of the session.
Each standing committee will first review the ordinance bills and other agenda items, then proceed with reports and Q&A sessions on the 2026 work implementation plan.
Notably, during this extraordinary session, the council will address a partial amendment ordinance bill to the "Chilgok County Council Members' Code of Ethics and Ethical Practice Standards," sponsored by Assemblywoman Park Namhee (co-sponsored by all council members), aiming to enhance the council's integrity and fairness.
Chairman Lee Sangseung stated, "Until the very last moment of my term, I will strive to repay the residents with clean and transparent legislative activities and continue to foster a trustworthy and open council," adding, "I will continue to take on challenges to achieve a successful conclusion to my term."
