According to the Seo-gu Council on the 21st, committee members who visited the site acknowledged the aging of existing facilities and the lack of convenience amenities, and requested that residents' opinions be fully reflected in the park remodeling project, including the installation of pavilions and drinking fountains, and the creation of park walkways.

They also requested that measures be considered to reduce the cost of developing the children's park by preserving and rearranging the existing trees.

Committee Chair Kim Gyunho proposed the removal of the existing stairs connecting Geumho Town Building 104 in Hwajeong 2-dong and replacing them with a ramp to create an accessible park pathway for seniors, people with disabilities, and children.

Kim emphasized, "We have listened to opinions that there are not enough children's facilities in the park, so please consider the purpose and function of the park as a children's park," adding, "Please make efforts in the development and management of the park so that it can serve as a shared space for seniors, children, and residents, fulfilling its multifunctional role."
