Developed in Collaboration with Fashion Tech Company CVSM
Air-Inflated Vest Easily Adapts to Any Season
The "Baemin Vest AirTech," a four-season functional vest that becomes warmer when filled with air and lighter when emptied, has been released.
Woowa Brothers Youth, the logistics service provider for Baedal Minjok, announced on the 20th that it has developed the rider functional wear "Baemin Vest AirTech" in collaboration with fashion tech company CVSM (Coversome), applying air insulation technology. This product, designed with the domestic delivery environment in mind, is the first item from the Baemin Rider Wear brand to be launched in the second half of the year.
The "Baemin Vest AirTech" features the air-inflated insulation technology "AirTech." It was developed in response to on-site feedback from riders who needed a vest that could be worn in any season. In winter, air can be added for warmth, while in other seasons, air can be released for a lighter fit. Baemin explained that users can freely switch between a lightweight vest and a padded vest by inflating or deflating it with their breath for 3 to 5 seconds. When air is blown in, an internal insulation layer forms, increasing the thermal effect by up to 2.5 times, which helps maintain stable body temperature even in winter. Conversely, when air is released, breathability and lightness are enhanced, providing a comfortable wearing experience even during summer.
A representative from Woowa Brothers Youth stated, "The Baemin Vest AirTech was developed with careful consideration of both the on-site feedback from Baemin riders and the actual delivery environment," adding, "Starting with the Baemin Vest AirTech, we plan to sequentially introduce our product lineup for the second half of this year. We will continue to support a safe and comfortable delivery environment through Baemin Rider Wear that actively reflects on-site opinions."
