During the commemorative ceremony, plaques of appreciation were presented to ten senior center presidents who have contributed to the operation and development of the centers, and awards were given to residents who have contributed to the development of the community. Speeches and congratulatory remarks from distinguished guests provided an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of the local community.

This was followed by a variety of unifying activities such as singing, dance performances, and quiz competitions involving multiple generations, which received an enthusiastic response. In the singing contest, local residents took the stage themselves, further heightening the excitement of the festival amid loud applause and cheers from the audience.

Shim Yangsook, head of Guam 2-dong, stated, "This time spent sharing warmth among neighbors will serve as the foundation for making our neighborhood a better place to live," adding, "I will continue to take the lead in creating various opportunities centered on our residents."
