The "2025 Chuncheon Social Economy Festival," held at the Chuncheon ICT Venture Center on the 17th, concluded successfully. The event featured a public procurement consultation to help companies expand into the public market and strengthen public-private cooperation, as well as a corporate PR competition. Promotional booths for social economy enterprises attracted a steady stream of visitors, contributing to market expansion and boosting consumption.


Additionally, a special lecture by Na Seokkwon, CEO of the Social Value Research Institute, on "Impact Business for a Better Society" was praised for deepening understanding of the social economy. A humanities lecture by author Lee Nakjun, known for his book "Severe Trauma Center," also received an enthusiastic response from the audience.


Mayor Yook Donghan stated, "I hope this event will serve as an opportunity to strengthen solidarity and cooperation between social economy enterprises, institutions, and organizations, and to spread the value of the social economy. We will continue to provide unwavering support so that the social economy can remain a key pillar of the local economy."
