Realmeter September Survey: 54.9% Approval for Provincial Governors
Maintains Top Spot for 11 Consecutive Months Since Last November

Kim Youngrok, Governor of Jeollanam-do, who is seeking a third term, has been found to enjoy consistent support from local residents.
According to a recent survey conducted by polling agency Realmeter in September 2025, Kim received a positive evaluation rating of 54.9% for his provincial administration, up 0.3 percentage points from the previous month. He has ranked first for an impressive 11 consecutive months since November last year.
It appears that stable provincial governance has earned positive reviews from the local community.
Following Governor Kim, Kim Dukyum, Mayor of Ulsan, ranked second with 52.3%, and Kim Kwanyoung, Governor of North Jeolla Province, ranked third with 52.1%.
In the nationwide superintendent job performance evaluation, Kim Kwangsoo, Superintendent of Jeju Provincial Office of Education, maintained first place for four consecutive months with a positive rating of 57.1%, while Kim Daejung, Superintendent of Jeollanam-do Office of Education, ranked second with 51.1%.
Meanwhile, this survey was conducted using a random digit dialing (RDD) automated response method with 13,600 respondents aged 18 and older nationwide. The margin of error is ±3.5% at a 95% confidence level, and the response rate was 3.4%.
