Mayor Shin Sangjin Attends Opening Ceremony of the "1st Sinheung Rodeo Beer Road Night Beer Festival"
On the evening of the 17th, Seongnam Mayor Shin Sangjin attended the opening ceremony of the 1st Sinheung Rodeo Beer Road Night Beer Festival, held at the Food Alley of Sinheung Rodeo Street General Market, where he encouraged officials and engaged with citizens.

Approximately 100 people attended the opening ceremony, including Mayor Shin, provincial and city council members, and the president of the merchants’ association.
In his congratulatory speech, Mayor Shin said, "This place, filled with memories from my twenties, was a representative downtown area of Seongnam in the 1980s. Although it went through a period of stagnation, I hope that this festival will serve as an opportunity for Sinheung Rodeo Street to regain its vibrancy and make a new leap forward."
He added, "The city will continue to actively support the revitalization of the original downtown commercial district, and I hope this festival becomes a venue for unity and enjoyment for both merchants and citizens."
Organized as part of the 'Specialized Street Commercial District Revitalization Support Project,' this festival is being held for two days until the 18th at the newly created Sinheung Rodeo Starlight Emotional Alley.

In May, the city designated Sinheung Rodeo Street as the sixth specialized street and, together with the merchants’ association, has been promoting initiatives such as a citizen-participatory night beer festival, operation of promotional supporters, and installation of starlight emotional sculptures.
