This meeting, held under the theme "Opening a New Horizon for Future Agriculture," was attended by approximately 50 participants, including Superintendent Lim Taehee, Chairman Kim Hongguk, members of the promotion committee, as well as officials from the Office of Education and the school.
During the meeting, attendees discussed topics such as nurturing agricultural talent based on advanced technology, strengthening the global competitiveness of K-Agriculture, and strategies for industry-academia collaboration. Participants toured the smart farm and training facilities, exploring ways to establish and operate a "Korean-style industry-academia collaboration model" inspired by the advanced agricultural system of the Netherlands.
Chairman Kim Hongguk stated, "Agriculture is a key global industry. Through technological innovation and talent development, we will enhance the competitiveness of our agricultural and livestock sector and actively cooperate with the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education to create a sustainable agricultural ecosystem."
Superintendent Lim Taehee commented, "Today's meeting is a meaningful occasion to discuss a collaborative model between Harim Group and schools and companies in the agricultural and livestock sector. To expand field-oriented practical training, we must strengthen connections with businesses."
He further emphasized, "I hope this collaboration will serve as an opportunity to foster future agricultural and livestock talent in vocational high schools across the province."
