K-Content Startups Hold 558 Consultations Worth 155.6 Billion Won at Dubai ICT Expo The Korea Creative Content Agency operated the "K-Content Pavilion" at "GITEX North Star Dubai 2025," held from the 12th to the 15th at Dubai Harbour, United Arab Emirates.

The Korea Creative Content Agency and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on October 17 that domestic companies achieved a total of 558 business consultations and consultation results amounting to approximately 109.62 million US dollars (about 155.6 billion won) at the largest ICT expo in the Middle East.

The two organizations operated the "Korea Content Pavilion" at "GITEX North Star Dubai 2025," held from October 12 to 15 at Dubai Harbour, United Arab Emirates. GITEX North Star Dubai is the largest information and communication technology (ICT) event in the Middle East, connecting startups and investors. This year, more than 2,000 startups from over 100 countries and more than 1,000 global investors participated.

The Korea Creative Content Agency promoted matchmaking and networking with promising investors in collaboration with a local business center. Ten domestic startups, combining technology and creativity in fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), extended reality (XR), and interactive content, participated in the joint pavilion.

Lee Han Creative showcased AI-based edtech technology and advanced to the semifinals of the global pitching competition "Supernova Challenge." TechTree Innovation and Real Design Tech each signed financial business agreements on-site with companies from the United Arab Emirates and Switzerland, respectively.

The Korea Creative Content Agency, together with the Korea International Trade Association, held the "Korea-Middle East Open Innovation Summit" to further strengthen the investment cooperation network. The event was attended by major Middle Eastern venture capital firms such as VentureSouq (VSQ) and Middle East Venture Partners (MEVP), as well as global companies like Emirates Group and Dubai's special economic zone Expo City Dubai (ECD), where they discussed open innovation and the potential for joint investment.

Previously, the Korea Creative Content Agency also established a joint pavilion at "Launchpad UAE," continuing to promote the entry of domestic companies into the Middle Eastern market. With major Middle Eastern economies such as Dubai and Saudi Arabia emerging as hubs for innovative technology investment, the agency aims to use this as a bridgehead for the technology-driven expansion of K-content.

Yoo Hyunseok, Acting President of the Korea Creative Content Agency, stated, "The Middle East is a key strategic market where large-scale investments are concentrated based on sovereign wealth funds. We will strengthen corporate cooperation networks and link various overseas support programs to achieve tangible results for the local expansion of K-content."
