All Citizens Evacuated
The police are evacuating citizens and conducting a search after receiving a report that explosives had been planted at Starfield, a large shopping mall in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province.
According to the Hanam Police Station in Gyeonggi Province, at around 6:57 p.m. on October 16, 2025, a report was received by the fire authorities stating that "explosives have been planted at Hanam Starfield."
It has been confirmed that the report was filed through the online homepage of the '119 Safety Report Center.'
Upon receiving a request for joint response from the fire authorities, the police deployed personnel to control the scene and evacuated all citizens who were inside the shopping mall.
The initial police search found nothing unusual, and a more thorough search is currently underway.
