All Flights Departing from Korea Eligible
Korean Air and Asiana Airlines announced on October 16 that they will waive cancellation fees for flights departing from Korea to Cambodia this year.
This measure was taken in consideration of a series of recent crimes targeting Korean nationals in Cambodia and the issuance of travel bans for certain regions.

The waiver applies to all flights departing from Korea to Cambodia from October 10 to December 31. For Korean Air, the waiver covers tickets issued until October 15, and for Asiana Airlines, tickets issued up to October 16 are eligible.
Korean Air and Asiana Airlines have each operated direct round-trip flights seven times a week on the Incheon-Takhmao (Phnom Penh) route.
Recently, there has been a surge in kidnapping and confinement crimes targeting Koreans in Cambodia. As of midnight on October 16, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs designated Bokor Mountain in Kampot Province, Bavet City, and Poipet City as travel-restricted areas.
