According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will be on the edge of a high-pressure system moving eastward over the northern part of the East Sea, but will gradually come under the influence of a low-pressure system located over the West Sea starting at night. The expected rainfall is between 10 and 40 millimeters.

Morning lows are forecast to be between 15 and 19 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius. Until the morning, strong winds of 32 to 47 kilometers per hour (9 to 13 meters per second) are expected over the West and South Seas, with waves reaching heights of 1.0 to 2.5 meters. Fine dust concentrations will remain at a 'good' level.
