The '2025 Dongincheon Romance Festival,' which aims to recreate the once-prosperous atmosphere of Dongincheon, will be held at the North Square of Dongincheon Station from October 18 to 19.
Now in its eighth year, the Dongincheon Romance Festival is hosted by Incheon City and organized by the Incheon Tourism Organization. A variety of programs will be offered, allowing local merchants and citizens to take center stage and participate as the main characters of the event.
The 'Romance Two-Day Market,' where merchants from Songhyeon Market, Jungang Market, and Baedari Craft Street will sell various market foods and crafts, and the 'Romance Busking' stage, featuring performances by local artists and youth, will take place over the two days.
On October 18, a 'Song and Instrument Competition,' open to all citizens through pre-registration, will be held. The opening ceremony will feature the 'Romance Concert' with performances by singers Won Miyeon, Geumsan, Simsin, and Cheon Rokdam.
On October 19, citizen-participation programs such as the 'Our Neighborhood Sports Day & Quiz Show,' the 'Romance Cinema'-a nostalgic movie screening in collaboration with Mirim Theater-and a 'Folk Concert' featuring Sunny, Kim Sehwan, and Yoon Hyungjoo will follow.
Baek Hyun, President of the Incheon Tourism Organization, stated, "We hope the Dongincheon Romance Festival will revitalize the local commercial district and become a leading regional festival where residents can come together and enjoy themselves."
