This training was organized as part of a welfare program implemented by Shinhan Bank in cooperation with related organizations such as the National Police Agency and the Financial Supervisory Service. A professional instructor supported by Shinhan Bank guided approximately 100 Wonju City Hall officials on how to respond to increasingly sophisticated and intelligent voice phishing schemes.

The curriculum focused on practical content such as the latest voice phishing techniques, real-life case studies, and response strategies in the event of an incident. In particular, it clearly explained various new types of scams, including impersonation of institutions and public agencies, messenger phishing, illegal spam, and malicious apps. The training also emphasized immediate response guidelines, such as hanging up right away if the caller is from an unknown number or if the contact seems suspicious.

Park Kyunghee, Head of Economic Promotion, stated, "We will take the lead in preventing citizens from falling victim to voice phishing by proactively responding to the latest crime trends."
