The organizing committee (co-chairs: Kang Namhoon, President of the Korea Automobile Mobility Industry Association, and Kim Jaehong, President of the Korea Hydrogen Alliance) announced on October 16 that Linde, the world’s largest industrial gas and engineering company based in Germany, will participate for the first time at the headquarters level in the 'World Hydrogen Expo (WHE) 2025', which will be held from December 4 to 7.
WHE 2025 is the world’s largest hydrogen industry event, where hydrogen companies from around the globe showcase the latest technologies and trends and create opportunities for global collaboration. Starting this year, the 'Hydrogen International Conference' and the hydrogen industry exhibition 'H2 MEET' will be integrated and held together.
For this year’s event, 3M will participate as a platinum sponsor, presenting key technologies such as glass bubbles for hydrogen storage and transportation, Nextel, and nanostructured iridium catalysts.
France’s Air Liquide will also participate at the headquarters level, introducing technologies such as low-carbon hydrogen production, green hydrogen based on renewable electrolysis, hydrogen liquefaction systems, pipeline and storage infrastructure, and hydrogen fuel cell applications. In addition, overseas companies such as Henkel Loctite and Mitsubishi Chemical Group will showcase hydrogen-related products.
Among Korean hydrogen companies, AES Tech will newly participate to introduce a hydrogen extractor that utilizes anhydrous liquid ammonia electrolysis. Shinsung CNT, a company specializing in IT materials, will exhibit the 'PEM Electrolyzer PTL (Porous Transport Layer)', a core component for water electrolysis hydrogen production.
Duonsystem, which developed Korea’s first intelligent differential pressure transmitter, will introduce pressure transmitters, level transmitters, and temperature transmitters through its new participation in WHE 2025.
Talent LNG, a Korean company providing gas piping and tubing solutions, will exhibit vacuum-insulated pipes and vaporizers used for hydrogen storage and transportation.
Kang Namhoon, chair of the WHE organizing committee, stated, "The hydrogen industry is growing as a key pillar for the transition to future eco-friendly energy," and added, "WHE 2025 will serve as a stage for industrial innovation, presenting not only the latest technologies and trends in the global hydrogen industry but also various solutions for the expansion of the hydrogen ecosystem and the realization of carbon neutrality."
WHE 2025 will be held for four days from December 4 to December 7 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. Further details about the event can be found on the WHE 2025 official website.
