The new iPad Pro and MacBook Pro are available for pre-order in Korea starting today, with official sales beginning on the 22nd.

According to the company, the M5 chip delivers up to four times greater GPU computing performance and up to 45% improved graphics performance compared to the M4.

The M5 is built on third-generation 3-nanometer technology and features a next-generation 10-core graphics processing unit (GPU) with a neural accelerator on each core, enabling dramatically faster GPU-based artificial intelligence (AI) tasks.

The new iPad Pro offers up to 3.5 times better AI performance than the previous model equipped with the M4 chip, and supports Wi-Fi 7 technology through Apple's newly designed wireless networking chip, the 'N1.'

The iPad Pro is available in 11-inch and 13-inch models, with starting prices of 1,599,000 won and 2,099,000 won, respectively, unchanged from previous models.

For the first time this year, Korea is included among the initial launch countries for the iPad Pro, and the device will be available for purchase domestically starting on the 22nd.

The new Vision Pro, a mixed reality (MR) headset, shows significant performance improvements compared to the first version released last year. While the previous Vision Pro featured the M2 chip, the latest model is equipped with the new M5 chip.

This enables a more enhanced spatial experience and supports Apple Intelligence features with additional languages. It also features a custom micro-OLED display that delivers sharper images than before.

The battery life has also been extended, and the band that makes contact with the head has been improved with a cushioned 'dual knit band,' reducing fatigue and discomfort during extended use, according to the company. The starting price for the Vision Pro remains at 4,990,000 won, and the release schedule for Korea has not been announced.

The new 14-inch MacBook Pro is the first in Apple's laptop lineup to feature the M5 chip, offering faster AI and graphics performance than before, and extending battery life to up to 24 hours. It is available in black and silver, with a price of 2,390,000 won.
