Exclusive Merchandise and Packages Unveiled Only at the Popup Store
Morning Glory announced on October 16 that it will operate the Morning Glory Illustration Fair (Moylepe) popup store at Hyundai Department Store Mokdong Branch for ten days, from the 17th to the 26th.
This event marks Morning Glory's first popup store at a department store.
Moylepe is an illustration artist collaboration project that Morning Glory has hosted since 2021. It allows visitors to experience and purchase merchandise from popular illustrators who have established fandoms among Millennials & Gen Z on social networking services such as Instagram.
This event will feature 28 popular illustrators, including Recorder Factory, which has around 150,000 followers, as well as Yeran, Sogeumtoon, FukaFuka Studio, Im Dewey, Somdu, Yeonstell, Sookidoki, and Team Baeksan.
The popup store will showcase a variety of diary decorating items such as stickers, masking tapes, memo pads, postcards, and writing instruments, as well as lifestyle goods like bags, plush toys, and keyrings. All participating artists have also prepared exclusive merchandise or packages that will be unveiled only at the popup event.
Morning Glory has designed the popup space with a "Dakku Farm" concept to match the harvest season of autumn. The space features photo zones with Morning Glory's signature characters, Blue Bear and Dust, where customers can take photos and enjoy the atmosphere.
Various on-site events will be held for customers who make purchases. Every customer will receive a specially produced Moylepe Dakku Farm sticker. Those who spend 10,000 won or more can participate in a lucky draw to win prizes such as a large Blue Bear plush toy, a Pink Bear plush toy, and character keyrings.
In addition, during the first three days of the event, customers who spend 50,000 won or more will receive a Morning Glory Art Premium Beauty Tissue Set, created in collaboration with the artist Jjoya. Customers who upload photos of the popup store on Instagram will also have a chance to win Naver Pay point coupons through a raffle.
The Moylepe Dakku Farm popup store will be located on Basement Level 2 of the U-PLEX at Hyundai Department Store Mokdong Branch.
A Morning Glory representative stated, "We have high expectations as Moylepe, which has grown through word of mouth among diary decorating enthusiasts, is now able to meet new customers through its first department store popup store."
