Gangwon Office of Education to Hold "2025 Entrepreneurship Experience Education Manager Workshop"

The Gangwon Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent: Shin Kyungho) is holding the "2025 Entrepreneurship Experience Education Manager Competency Enhancement Workshop" at Sono Belle Cheongsong in Cheongsong County, Gyeongbuk, for three days and two nights from October 15 to 17.

This workshop has been organized to strengthen the leadership and practical capabilities of school administrators in entrepreneurship experience education amid the rapidly changing landscape of career education. Twenty-one principals and vice principals from elementary, middle, and high schools in the province are participating.

The main programs include a special lecture on the vision and direction of entrepreneurship education in schools, sharing of entrepreneurship education case studies linking elementary, secondary, and university levels, field visits to local startup companies, and group discussions on implementation strategies for entrepreneurship education at each school. Participants will explore concrete action plans for integrating entrepreneurial spirit into the school curriculum.

In particular, this training is being conducted in collaboration with the Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation, Gangneung-Wonju National University, and Yeungnam University, with the goal of presenting a practical model that connects the local startup ecosystem with school education. Outstanding cases and opinions gathered from this workshop will be reflected in the "2026 Entrepreneurship Education Promotion Plan" to be established in the future.

Kim Seongrae, Director of Secondary Education, stated, "This will be an opportunity for school administrators to contemplate the direction of entrepreneurship education together and to grow as practical leaders who support teachers and students," adding, "Gangwon education will take the lead in fostering students' career competencies based on entrepreneurial spirit."
