Icheon City to Hold 'Icheon National Photography Contest' at Seohui Theme Park on the 19th

Commemorating the Jang Wigong Seohui Diplomatic Culture Festival

Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province will host the 4th Icheon National Photography Contest at Seohui Theme Park on October 19.

This event, organized by the Icheon branch of the Korea Photographers Association and hosted by the city, is being held to commemorate the Jang Wigong Seohui Diplomatic Culture Festival. The Jang Wigong Seohui Diplomatic Culture Festival is a participatory festival that allows visitors to experience the history and culture honoring Jang Wigong Seohui, a diplomatic hero of the Goryeo Dynasty.

Participants may submit up to four works each, with contest entries required to express the theme of the Seohui Diplomatic Culture Festival. Eligible subjects include festival programs such as the memorial ceremony, five-character acrostic poem examination, Seohui Commemoration National Art Contest, live drawing performances, and busking performances.

A total of 16 awards will be given: one gold prize, two silver prizes, three bronze prizes, five honorable mentions, and five encouragement awards. Winners of the gold, silver, and bronze prizes will receive both a certificate and a cash prize.
