Gori Nuclear Power Plant Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (headed by Lee Sangwook) announced that Shin-Gori Unit 1 (pressurized water reactor, 1 million kW class), which completed its 9th scheduled preventive maintenance, resumed power generation on October 12 and reached 100% normal output at 11:00 a.m. on October 15.
During this scheduled preventive maintenance period, Shin-Gori Unit 1 underwent statutory inspections in accordance with the Nuclear Safety Act and the Electric Utility Act, and performed inspections and maintenance on major equipment and facilities, thereby enhancing the reliability of the power generation facilities.
