Cheorwon County to Host Job and Business Expo on the 29th...Providing Employment Information

Participation from Over 20 Local Companies and Related Organizations

Cheorwon County in Gangwon Province is creating a platform for collaboration among local businesses and providing high-quality job information to job seekers.

Cheorwon County will host the 2025 Cheorwon County Job and Business Expo at the Cheorwon County Indoor Gymnasium on October 29, 2025.


This expo is expected to feature participation from more than 20 local companies. The event will be organized into four main sections: the Business Exhibition Hall, which will promote and display outstanding products from small and medium-sized enterprises and facilitate consultations with buyers; the Recruitment Hall, where 1:1 on-site interviews and hiring will take place; the Employment Information Hall, which will provide job-seeking and entrepreneurship consultations and consulting services from related organizations; and the Auxiliary Event Hall, which will offer resume photo shoots, career tarot readings, and other activities designed to strengthen job seekers' capabilities and reduce stress.


The Business Exhibition Hall will operate from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., showcasing excellent products from companies located in the county's industrial complexes and providing opportunities for consultations with buyers to actively support local businesses in expanding into overseas markets.


The Employment Information Hall and Recruitment Hall will operate from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Five related organizations, including local recruiting companies and the Gangwon Regional Veterans Support Center under the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, will participate to create a practical employment connection platform where job seekers can find quality jobs and companies can secure outstanding talent.


Approximately 200 people are expected to participate in the expo, including Cheorwon County residents seeking employment and veterans preparing to enter society and settle down. In addition to job seekers, general citizens can also enjoy activities such as caricature drawing and instant photo booths, making it an event that offers something for everyone, regardless of age or gender.


Seo Jeongbo, Head of the Economic Promotion Division, stated, "Through this expo, we aim to enhance the competitiveness of local businesses and the employment rate in Cheorwon County, while also creating an event that all county residents can enjoy and relate to together."
