The Incheon-Kagoshima route will operate daily, seven times a week, starting from November 21. The outbound flight departs from Incheon at 3:35 p.m. and arrives in Kagoshima at 5:15 p.m. local time, while the return flight departs from Kagoshima at 6:10 p.m. local time and arrives in Incheon at 7:50 p.m.
Located at the southernmost tip of Kyushu, Japan, Kagoshima is home to natural tourist attractions such as Yakushima-which is known as the forest from the Studio Ghibli animation "Princess Mononoke"-and the Sakurajima volcano. With its mild climate, Kagoshima is also considered a resort destination where golf trips are possible year-round.
An Eastar Jet representative said, "Kagoshima is renowned in Japan for its hot springs and golf courses, making it a highly satisfying destination among Korean travelers. We hope that with Eastar Jet's new route, even more people will be able to enjoy trips to various Japanese cities."
