All 20 selected trainees attended the ceremony, marking the official start of the program together.

This program was designed to support reemployment and increased social participation among the new middle-aged generation, focusing on helping participants plan their second act in life by obtaining the Level 2 Integrated Cognitive Play Instructor certification.

Recruitment for trainees took place over 15 days from September 4 to September 19. A total of 97 people applied, resulting in a competitive ratio of 5 to 1 and demonstrating high interest. After interview screenings, 20 final trainees were selected. These new middle-aged participants, each with diverse careers and life experiences, gathered to embark on a new journey together.

The training will run from October 13 to November 4. The program consists of a financial education session (3 hours) held on the day of the entrance ceremony, followed by basic AI education (6 hours), and a 24-hour course to obtain the Level 2 Integrated Cognitive Play Instructor certification.

The Integrated Cognitive Play Instructor certification is a specialized instructor qualification that helps improve seniors' cognitive abilities and prevent dementia. Those who obtain the certification can lead cognitive play programs at senior centers, welfare centers for the elderly, and care facilities.

Through this program, the new middle-aged generation is expected to contribute to society while also securing stable job opportunities. At the entrance ceremony, the trainees expressed their determination to complete the program and their commitment to embarking on a new second act in life.

An official from Yangsan City stated, "We hope this training program will serve as an opportunity for the new middle-aged generation to take on new challenges, and we will actively support them so that their wealth of experience and capabilities can contribute to the development of the local community."
