Tennis Stars Chung Hyeon and Kwon Soonwoo to Compete as ATP Seoul Open Kicks Off on October 26

Chung Hyeon and Kwon Soonwoo, leading figures in South Korean men’s tennis, will compete in the 2025 Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Seoul Open, which begins on October 26, 2025.


The 2025 ATP Seoul Open will kick off on October 26 and run until November 2 at the Olympic Park Tennis Courts in Seoul.


In addition to Chung Hyeon and Kwon Soonwoo, many of South Korea’s top male tennis players, including Nam Ji-sung and Park Ui-sung, will participate. International players such as Taro Daniel of Japan, last year’s Seoul Open runner-up; Nishioka Yoshihito of Japan, the 2022 ATP Korea Open champion; and Wu Yibing of China, the 2023 ATP Dallas Open winner, will also compete, promising fierce competition for the championship trophy.

The total prize money for the tournament is 160,000 dollars (approximately 225 million won), and the winner will receive 100 ATP ranking points.


The ATP and the Korea Tennis Association (KTA) are hosting the tournament, while the Seoul Sports Council and the Seoul Tennis Association are serving as organizers.


The tournament organizing committee announced that it will operate a flexible ticketing system to allow tennis fans to enjoy high-quality matches. The qualifying rounds and weekday general seating will be available as unreserved seats, while weekday reserved seats (October 27-30) and all seats on the weekend (October 31-November 2) will be priced differently according to seat grade. Detailed ticket information is available on the NOL Interpark website and app.


When purchasing tickets, various commemorative gifts from sponsors such as Litu, d'Alba, Upriday, Lee Soroun, PM International, and Boksoondoga will be provided.


Eugene Investment & Securities will serve as the title sponsor.


Kim Eunseop, president of the Seoul Tennis Association, stated, “We hope that the 2025 Eugene Investment & Securities Seoul Open will provide a stepping stone for promising domestic and international players to advance onto the global stage, and that local fans will enjoy high-level matches, helping revitalize the domestic tennis scene.”
