In the flower field of Geumcheon-myeon, Cheongdo-gun (Governor Kim Hasu), cosmos flowers are in full bloom, creating a picturesque landscape under the cool autumn breeze.
The flower field, established in a vacant riverside area in Sinji-ri, Geumcheon-myeon, began sowing seeds around July this year. Since then, continuous efforts such as weeding and environmental maintenance have been made to complete the flower field.
In addition to cosmos, the flower field features a variety of flowers including Hongdohwa and pink muhly grass, offering residents and tourists a diverse array of sights to enjoy.
Under the gentle sunlight, the swaying cosmos in shades of pink and white fill the flower path with the essence of autumn. As people walk along the path and take photos, smiles naturally spread across their faces. Even a single petal fluttering in the wind brings a moment of relaxation and peace to those who visit.
Lee Sangjoo, head of Geumcheon-myeon, said, "I hope this flower field filled with cosmos offers a moment of warmth and comfort to residents and visitors alike," adding, "We will continue to tend this field with care so that it can deliver unique beauty with every season."
