Promotion of the 1st Boseong Yeolseonru Yi Sun-sin History and Culture Festival
Boseong County in South Jeolla Province (Governor Kim Cheolwoo) announced on October 14 that it will distribute 16 types of 'BS Samchongsa' (Green Tea-mon, Cockle-mon, Kiwi-mon) emoticons for free to the first 40,000 people through the KakaoTalk Boseong County Office channel at 2 p.m. on October 15.
This free emoticon distribution aims to promote the '1st Boseong Yeolseonru Yi Sun-sin History and Culture Festival,' which will be held for three days starting October 24. The BS Samchongsa characters, which personify Boseong's signature specialties-green tea, cockles, and kiwis-are depicted in a cute and playful manner.
If you add the 'Boseong County Office' channel as a friend on KakaoTalk, a message with a link to download the emoticons will be sent automatically at the distribution time. In addition, the channel will offer a variety of notification services, including information on the festival's main programs and real-time performance schedules.
An official from the county stated, "The 1st Boseong Yeolseonru Yi Sun-sin History and Culture Festival will reach out to residents and tourists with a youthful and cheerful spirit. We hope that the BS Samchongsa emoticons will help promote Yeolseonru and Boseong widely, and become a beloved regional character that everyone wants to share."
The '1st Boseong Yeolseonru Yi Sun-sin History and Culture Festival' is planned as a Boseong-style integrated cultural festival that blends youth, tradition, and nature, centered around the historical symbolism of Yeolseonru, where Admiral Yi Sun-sin submitted his famous report stating, "I still have twelve warships."
