Saemaeul Geumgo announced on October 14 that it had supplied 20.03 billion won in inclusive finance funds through policy loan products in the first half of this year.
Policy loan products refer to Sunshine Loans, local government agreement loans, and small business loans. Saemaeul Geumgo’s policy loan disbursements have been on the rise, recording 294 billion won in 2022, 295.8 billion won in 2023, and 312.3 billion won in 2024.
The Saemaeul Geumgo Central Association explained that it is actively providing policy loans to support the economic self-sufficiency of financially vulnerable groups, including low-credit and low-income workers, self-employed individuals, and small business owners.
Kim In, President of the Saemaeul Geumgo Central Association, stated, “Even in a challenging management environment where we are working to strengthen soundness, we will expand support for financially vulnerable groups such as small business owners and low-credit individuals. As a community finance institution, we will fulfill our social responsibility together with the local community.”
