Wishing for the Successful Hosting of the 106th National Sports Festival
Showcasing Sports Education Integrated with Advanced Technology
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) will operate the "Busan Education Sports Festival Experience Program" for two days starting from the 14th at Hall 1 on the first floor of BEXCO Exhibition Center 1, to wish for the successful hosting of the 106th National Sports Festival and to widely promote school sports in Busan.
This event is designed to allow young people to directly experience the value and joy of sports through on-site sports activities linked to the National Sports Festival. It also aims to present a vision for future-oriented sports education by integrating advanced technologies such as AI (artificial intelligence), VR (virtual reality), AR (augmented reality), and XR (extended reality) with physical education.
Under the theme "Turning the Passion of the Busan National Sports Festival into Our Children's Challenge!", this program will be operated in the form of a "Sports Challenge Zone" that combines advanced technology and sports. Participating students and citizens will be able to experience the vivid atmosphere of being in an actual stadium through a variety of sports activities utilizing the latest digital technologies such as AI, VR, AR, and XR.
At the "Busan Education Sports Festival Sports Challenge Zone," a wide range of programs will be offered, including: ▲Know Yourself, Know Your Limits (understanding your physical fitness) ▲Concentration Up ▲Target Challenge ▲Smart Participation in the National Sports Festival ▲Enjoying New Sports at School ▲National Sports Festival Promotion Booth and Life Four-Cut Photo Shoot, among others.
Superintendent Kim Seokjun stated, "This experience program will provide students with a meaningful opportunity to feel the excitement of the National Sports Festival up close, while also developing the scientific thinking and digital literacy required by future society. Busan Education will actively promote the future-oriented school sports model that integrates sports and science technology."
