According to the headquarters on October 14, this support is a measure to ensure rapid on-site response and systematic medical assistance in the event of emergencies during the international event, which will be attended by multinational leaders and delegations.

The headquarters will assign three personnel to each ambulance, operating a system of nine staff per day in two shifts. They plan to efficiently deploy emergency resources, including special ambulances and negative pressure ambulances, to ensure the continuity and stability of on-site response.

During the event, paramedics will be stationed at the venue, on major nearby roads, and at accommodations to enable early detection of emergency patients and maintain a rapid transport system. They will also closely cooperate with the Central 119 Rescue Headquarters, Gyeongbuk Fire Headquarters, and other related agencies to operate an integrated, field-centered response system.

On the same day, a pre-duty training session was held at the Centennial Memorial Hall of Dongguk University in Gyeongju for 82 paramedics mobilized nationwide. The training included emergency medical response procedures, scenario-based drills for various situations, and checks of collaborative systems, further enhancing practical response capabilities.

Lee Osuk, head of Jeonbuk Fire Headquarters, stated, "We will demonstrate the headquarters' capabilities to protect the safety of residents even at national events," and added, "We will do our utmost to ensure the safety of the international event through seamless on-site response and thorough quality control."
