K-Fashion Advances to Paris Fashion Week for Three Consecutive Seasons... Jeon Somi Serves as Ambassador

'Concept Korea' Features Kimhekim, Bonbom, and Reehue
"Highlighting the Creativity of Korean Designers"

K-Fashion Advances to Paris Fashion Week for Three Consecutive Seasons... Jeon Somi Serves as Ambassador The Korea Creative Content Agency successfully held "Concept Korea 2026 S/S" at Palais de Tokyo in Paris, France, on the 29th and 30th of last month.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency announced on the 14th that they presented a new vision for K-fashion by holding "Concept Korea 2026 S/S" at the Palais de Tokyo, a contemporary art museum in Paris, France, on the 29th and 30th of last month.

Launched at New York Fashion Week in 2010, Concept Korea is a flagship initiative supporting Korean designers' expansion into overseas markets. This year, three brands-Kimhekim, Bonbom, and Reehue-participated in the Paris showcase.

Kimhekim's "I Feel Love" collection, unveiled on the 29th, offered a modern reinterpretation of 1970s disco sensibilities. The brand's signature structural designs were complemented by ribbon, pearl, and heart embellishments, and a collaboration with Asics on sneakers drew significant attention.

The following day, Bonbom presented the "Sur la M, le C, les G" collection, which playfully expressed bold images inspired by motorbikes, horseback riding, and fetishism. Styling was handled by American designer Betsey Johnson.

Reehue explored the theme of "Practical Poet," transforming everyday emotions into poetic narratives. The collection left a strong impression with its restrained structure and delicate details.

Global artist Jeon Somi participated in the event as an ambassador. Key fashion media outlets such as the Paris Fashion Federation (FHCM), Vogue France, Vogue Italia, L'Officiel, as well as European buyers and influencers, were also in attendance.

Th?o Saussard, a journalist from Antidote, commented, "Concept Korea is not just a show, but an important platform that highlights the creativity of Korean designers in the global fashion industry." Lilan Kwok, creative director of Club to Anyone, also remarked, "It was an excellent show that clearly conveyed the artistic vision of the designers."

This year, Concept Korea participated in Paris Fashion Week for three consecutive seasons for the first time. This demonstrates that the presence of Korean designers on the global stage is not a one-off event, but a sustained trend.

Yoo Hyunseok, Acting President of the Korea Creative Content Agency, stated, "K-fashion is expanding its influence at the heart of the global fashion scene," adding, "We will continue to provide strategic support to strengthen the global competitiveness of domestic brands."
