"On-Site Youth Communication" with the District Mayor to Be Held
Gwangjin-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Kim Kyungho) will hold an online event for young people titled "Gwangjin Youth, Share Your Best Tips for Living Alone" from October 15 to 24. This event has been organized to identify practical policy needs that arise from the daily lives of young people and to strengthen communication between the district and its youth.

The event is open to young people aged 19 to 39, who are invited to share useful tips and must-have items for living independently. Participants can post their ideas on the Gwangjin-gu Youth Portal bulletin board, including money management and saving methods, tips for finding a room, cleaning and cooking know-how, and recommendations for daily necessities-covering all aspects of independent living.
Fifteen participants will be selected and invited to the "Youth Communication Field District Mayor’s Office," which will be held at the Hwayang Life Support Center on November 6. On this day, the district will provide information on youth policies and listen to any inconveniences or suggestions from the participants. Each attendee will also receive a gift worth 20,000 won. Kim Kyungho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "If you have any inconveniences or suggestions, please feel free to let us know at any time," adding, "We will continue to implement policies that provide practical support for a happier future for young people."
Meanwhile, Gwangjin-gu has won the Youth-Friendly Constitutional Award Communication Award for three consecutive years through youth-tailored policies such as support for language proficiency test fees, operation of the Youth Startup Center, youth cultural life vouchers, and youth monthly rent support projects.
