On the 13th, Gwangju and South Jeolla Province are expected to experience overcast skies and scattered rain throughout the day due to the influence of a low-pressure system and a stationary front.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the area will be affected by a stationary front moving from the vicinity of the Shandong Peninsula in China to the West Sea, as well as a low-pressure system developing along the stationary front. The expected rainfall is between 10 and 50 millimeters.
The morning low temperatures are forecast to range from 17 to 20 degrees Celsius, with afternoon highs between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius. Waves in the coastal waters off the West Sea and South Sea are expected to reach 1 meter, and ultrafine dust concentrations will remain at a 'good' level.
An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Visibility will be reduced and roads will be slippery in areas where it rains, so please pay attention to traffic safety."
