The current director of the National Police Hospital was booked by police after causing an accident while driving under the influence during the Chuseok holiday.
According to the police on October 11, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul is investigating Director A of the National Police Hospital on charges of failing to take necessary measures after an accident and driving under the influence, in violation of the Road Traffic Act.
Director A is suspected of driving under the influence in Seocho District during the Chuseok holiday, colliding with another vehicle, and failing to take appropriate action afterward.
The police plan to summon Director A soon to investigate the details of the incident.
