Gapyeong County to Host Outdoor Film Festival
for Families on the Lawn of Music Station 1939
Gapyeong County in Gyeonggi Province announced on October 10 that the 'Music Station 1939 Moonlight Film Festival,' originally scheduled for October 13 and 14, will be postponed by one week to October 20 and 21 due to a forecast of rain.
This film festival will take place on the lawn in front of Music Station 1939, with the venue's media facade (exterior wall video projection) as a backdrop. It has been organized as an outdoor cultural event where county residents can enjoy movies with their families while taking in the autumn night atmosphere.
The screenings are as follows: on October 20 at 7:30 p.m., the animated film "Leafie, A Hen into the Wild" (rated for all ages, 93 minutes); and on October 21 at 7:30 p.m., the film "My Paparotti" (rated 15 and over, 127 minutes). Both films are expected to offer audiences a warm and relaxing experience, enhanced by the unique emotional ambiance of Music Station 1939.
A Gapyeong County official stated, "We have prepared an opportunity for residents to comfortably enjoy movies outdoors with their families after the Chuseok holiday. Since the event has been postponed due to the rain forecast, we will ensure that it becomes an open film festival where everyone can come together in an even more pleasant environment."
Admission to the film screenings is free, and seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis without prior reservation. Updates about the event can be found through the 'Music Station 1939 Channel' on KakaoTalk.
