An active-duty police officer is under investigation for allegedly illegally filming the bodies of women he met through a chat app.
On October 10, the Busan Jungbu Police Station announced that it had booked a police officer in his 30s on charges of illegally filming the bodies of multiple women and is currently investigating the case.
This officer is suspected of secretly recording the body of a female victim after meeting her through a chat app. It was reported that, during the process of seizing and analyzing the officer's mobile phone, police discovered videos and photos of several women.
The Busan Jungbu Police Station stated that it opened the case and began its investigation in mid-August, adding, "As the investigation is ongoing, we cannot disclose further details."
