Gwangju Shinsegae Launches Post-Chuseok Marketing Campaign

Gwangju Shinsegae (CEO Lee Donghoon) has launched a "post-Chuseok marketing" campaign targeting customers returning to their daily routines after the long Chuseok holiday. The company is suggesting items to help recover from holiday fatigue, such as massage chairs, health drinks, and flower-blended teas, and is holding a large-scale autumn discount event.

At the "Bodyfriend" store on the 8th floor of the main building, the company recommends the "Medical Pharaoh," a massage chair certified as a medical device. It helps relieve muscle pain with tapping and heat massage functions. Customers who already own a massage chair from Bodyfriend or another brand can receive a discount of up to 900,000 won until the 19th when purchasing a new one.


On the basement first floor, "Orosi Juice" offers 100% cold-pressed juices made from local ingredients. The "Sweet Green" juice contains apple, kale, and lemon, while the "Classic Ginger" juice is made with apple, lemon, and ginger-both designed to help with fatigue recovery. The "Hyeryang" pop-up store on the same floor is presenting flower-blended teas made with pear, citron, and balloon flower root.


Discount events are also being held. The "Shinbaek Members Festa," running until the 12th, features 51 brands across fashion, sports, and accessories. Children's and golf brands on the 6th floor of the main building are offering discounts of up to 20%. At Play Spot, young fashion and sports brands such as Nike, Puma, Under Armour, Acmedelavie, and Skechers are available at discounts ranging from 10% to 30%.


Kim Youngmin, head of the food team at Gwangju Shinsegae, said, "We have prepared so that customers can relieve holiday fatigue with massage chairs and health drinks, while also enjoying reasonable shopping benefits. We hope our customers can return to their daily lives in a good mood."
