[Weather Tomorrow] Mostly Cloudy with Occasional Rain... Daytime Highs Up to 26 Degrees

On Tuesday, the 7th, which is the day after Chuseok, the weather across the country is expected to be mostly cloudy with occasional rain. In areas where it rains, visibility will be reduced and roads will be slippery, so caution is advised for safe driving.


While most of the rain will stop by night, rain is expected to continue until early morning on the 8th in southern Incheon and Gyeonggi, southern inland Gangwon, the Chungcheong region, and northern inland North Gyeongsang. In Jeju Island, rain will persist until the morning. Other regions may see less than 0.1 mm of light rain.


The expected rainfall from the 6th to the 7th is 20 to 60 mm for southern Incheon and Gyeonggi, mountainous areas of Gangwon, the east coast, northern east coast of North Gyeongsang, and northeastern mountainous areas. Seoul, northern Gyeonggi, the five West Sea islands, inland Gangwon, North Jeolla, and western inland South Gyeongsang are forecast to receive 10 to 40 mm.


Gwangju, South Jeolla, Busan, Ulsan, South Gyeongsang (excluding western inland South Gyeongsang), Daegu, and North Gyeongsang (excluding northern North Gyeongsang) are expected to receive 5 to 20 mm of rain, while Jeju Island will see around 5 mm.


Morning lows are forecast to range from 15 to 22 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 18 to 26 degrees Celsius.


By region, the forecast temperatures are as follows: Seoul 16 to 19 degrees, Incheon 17 to 20, Suwon 17 to 20, Chuncheon 15 to 19, Gangneung 17 to 21, Cheongju 19 to 21, Daejeon 19 to 22, Sejong 19 to 21, Jeonju 21 to 25, Gwangju 21 to 25, Daegu 19 to 23, Busan 22 to 26, Ulsan 20 to 24, Changwon 21 to 25, and Jeju 24 to 28 degrees.


Wave heights are expected to be 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea. In the offshore areas (up to about 200 km from the coastline), waves are expected to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West and South Seas.
