Hwang Yumin, known as the "Squad Leader" of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, has claimed victory on the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour.

On October 4 (local time), at the Hoakalei Country Club (par 72, 6,566 yards) in Iwabichi, Oahu, Hawaii, United States, Hwang shot a 5-under-par 67 in the final fourth round of the LPGA Tour Lotte Championship (total prize money: 3 million dollars), clinching a come-from-behind victory with a total score of 17-under-par 271. Participating as a sponsor-invited player, she achieved a major win. Along with the winner’s prize of 450,000 dollars (approximately 630 million won), she also secured a seed to compete on the LPGA Tour next year. This marks the fifth victory by Korean players this year.
